Former India pacer Venkatesh Prasad believes that Twenty20 format can help the youngsters in developing their skills as a bowler.
“I think it’s a great challenge and the bowlers should be looking at these opportunities. People say T20 is a batsman’s game – yes to a large extent. But having said that if you are smart enough as a bowler and if you know what you are doing, you can pick up a lot of wickets,” said Prasad.
“The batsmen are going after the bowling and if you take it up as a challenge you can really do well and succeed,” he added.
Stating the example of Sreenath Aravind, who was the find for RCB in IPL-4, the former India pacer said: “In every game you can see some sort of an improvement in Aravind. He is a very smart bowler. He keeps thinking and he knows his strengths and limitations and he works around it and keeps the batsman guessing.
