Inarguably the best batsman of his time and one of greatest of all-time, Tendulkar had a 24-year-old international cricket, where he notched up most of the batting records and played a significant role in India’s rise in cricket.
Now in an unfamiliar territory in the United States as part of All-Star T20 series, Tendulkar along with his good friend and playing time nemesis Shane Warne are promoting the game there. It’s a good thought as US as a country is filled with South Asian expats and there is a huge scope of making the sport popular. Cricket is the second most followed sport in the world and it’s surprising that it’s not popular in a country like US despite the game’s British roots.
