Mumbai: England national football team striker Harry Kane heaped praise on star batsman Virat Kohli after the latter guided India to a thumping six-wicket victory over Australia to enter the World Twenty20 semi-finals. The in-form Delhi lad remained unbeaten on 82 runs off 51 balls as the Indians survived a few early setbacks to overhaul a difficult target of 161 with five deliveries to spare. “Virat Kohli is some player! The 22-year-old Tottenham Hotspur striker has been instrumental in guiding his club to second place in the English Premier League standings and is in the news recently for scoring in his country’s 3-2 win over Germany in an international friendly. Sunday’s World T20 match, the last in Group 2, was a virtual quarter-final as the winners qualified for the semi-finals. India finished their group engagements with three wins in four matches. New Zealand had earlier qualified for the semi-finals from Group 2, while England and West Indies have gone through to the last-four stage from Group 1.  India will now face West Indies in the semi-finals on March 31 in Mumbai while England will take on New Zealand on March 30 in New Delhi.
