Many from the Indian cricket world including the likes of Kapil Dev, Virender Sehwag and Yuvraj Singh attended a special screening of Amitabh Bachchan starrer film Pink in Delhi. This special screening of the film was organised by former Indian cricketer Bishan Singh Bedi whose son Angad Bedi stars in the film as an antagonist. Pink film is scheduled to hit the theatres on September 16 which has been produced by acclaimed filmmaker Shoojit Sircar and stars Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari and Andrea Tariang alongside Amitabh Bachchan in pivotal roles.
Virender Sehwag attended the screening along with his wife Aarti while on the other hand Yuvraj Singh had come along with his fiancée Hazel Keech and mother Shabnam Singh. Former Indian bowler Murali Kartik and Minister of state for information & broadcasting Rajyavardhan Rathore also attended the show. Moreover the special screening was also attended by Bollywood actors like Irrfan Khan who had worked with Sircar in film Piku back in 2015. Angad along with his father did the honours of welcoming the guest as they played hosts to this special screening. The film’s team, including Bachchan, Shoojit, director Anirudhha Roy Chowdhury, was also present at the show.
Apart from this screening, the film was also screened for family and friends of the cast which Amitabh Bachchan as he had to depart due to a foot injury that he has sustained recently. The second screening which was just for the family and friends of the cast saw leading ladies Taapsee and Kirti mingling with their family members. While on the other hand Bachchan was seen taking pictures at the arena of sports where he attended the first screening along with the cricket stars. The film has already garnered loads of accolades from all those who have seen the film as off yet while the film has also been acclaimed critically by many.
