Virender Sehwag is known for his hilarious remarks be it wishing birthday or trolling former/current cricketers, this time he has sent pre-Diwali wishes across to our Army men in his own style promoting the campaign ‘Sandesh2Soldiers’. The beginning of the video is where the interesting bit lies, which goes like, “Aaj humara desh mana raha hai mauj, kyunki humare paas hai itni zabardast fauj”, so one can only imagine what the rest of the lines may go as. No, he does not just focus on the ‘shayari’ bit but what he wants to say to all the Indians around is, just salute when you come across an army man. On October 20, Sehwag celebrated his birthday and Twitterati expected Sehwag will come up with some hilarious puns on his own occasion. And Sehwag left no opportunity to disappoint his fans. Right from changing his Twitter display picture (a birthday special) to thanking the big names who wished him, Sehwag won many a heart on his birthday too. He was active on Twitter virtually all day and kept replying to the congratulatory tweets in his typical style. Like his birthday tweets to others, his thanksgiving tweets were hilarious too.
Sehwag also got into banter with Twitter’s next drama man Piers Morgan during the Kabbadi World Cup, when India thrashed England. However, Sehwag fired up the topic once again when India won the Kabbadi World Cup title and gave a fitting reply to Morgan saying, “India invented Kabaddi & r World Champs for the 8th time.
