West Indies opening batsman Kraigg Brathwaite has signed up with Nottinghamshire for the remainder of the 2018 County Championship matches, according to a report published by caribbeancricket.com.

“I’m excited about getting going at this great club and hopefully I can help the side push for the Championship title in the run-in,” Brathwaite said. “Being able to call Trent Bridge home for a few weeks will be a great feeling and I’ll be looking to give my best for the team across the final five games,” he added.

There are five remaining fixtures in the County Championship for Nottinghamshire. The county side play their next match against Hampshire. The squad would then travel to London where they will play Surrey at The Kia Oval. They will then return to Trent Bridge and play their last three games of the season at home against Yorkshire, Essex and Somerset.
