Jerome Taylor cleans up James Anderson

The third Test between West Indies and England at Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados is heading towards an exciting finish and the two heroes of the second day were England’s James Anderson and West Indies’ Jerome Taylor.

The third Test between West Indies and England at Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados is heading towards an exciting finish and the two heroes of the second day were England’s James Anderson and West Indies’ Jerome Taylor. In a rare moment of co-incidence, Michael Steele of Getty Images, captured a brilliant frame when Taylor cleaned up made Anderson’s stumps go for a walk. In fact, Anderson was the last batsman to get out which gave Taylor his third wicket of the first innings.

 

The match started with England skipper Alastair Cook winning the toss and electing to bat first. Cook shined with a ton and took the team’s total to 257. In reply, West Indies were bowled out for a mere 189, thanks to Anderson’s six wicket haul. It gave their opposition a lead of 68 runs. However Taylor and co brought West Indies back in the game, reducing the visitors to 39 for five at the end of the day’s play. Taylor got the key wickets of Jonathan Trott and Ian Bell.
