All Test cricketers who retired before December 31, 1993 and have played less than 25 matches will get Rs 37,500 per month while those who retired on or after January 1, 1994 will get Rs 22,500 per month.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has decided to grant a one-time gratis payment to five domestic stalwarts, four of whom have represented India. While Wasim Jaffer, Sanjay Bangar, Sairaj Bahutule, S Sriram represented India, Amol Muzumdar was part of champion Mumbai team and is the second highest run-getter in the history of Ranji Trophy after Jaffer.
