Former Australia captain Ricky Ponting did lap of honour at Hobart on Friday during the lunch break on the first day of the first Test match between Australia and South Africa.
Ponting announced his retirement from Test cricket at the end of the fourth and final Test match between Australia and South Africa earlier in the month, bringing an end to a glorious career where he ended as the second highest run-getter in Test cricket.
