Mallika Sagar had been the auctioneer for the Pro-Kabaddi League, and the inaugural Women's Premiere League (WPL). Mallika Sagar replaced Hugh Edmeades for the post. Richard Madly, Charu Sharma and Hugh Edmeades have been the gravel bangers at previous IPL auctions.
